As Senior Vice President of Resources Management and Compliance, Vicki Sessoms is responsible for the management of the health plan’s Human Resources, Administrative Services, Legal Affairs and Government Compliance departments.
Ms. Sessoms previously served as Vice President of Human Resources for Health Partners. In that role, she was responsible for the strategic planning and direction of the company’s Human Resources department. Prior to joining Health Partners, Ms. Sessoms held senior Human Resources positions with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Delaware, Inc. and the Bechtel Power Corporation. Her expertise includes staffing, benefits, compliance, employee relations, organizational development and compensation.
Ms. Sessoms has earned several awards and honors for her achievements in the area of Human Resources, including being named 2001’s Delaware Valley Human Resources Person of the Year (companies with 251-1000 employees) by the Society for Human Resources Management. The award is designed to recognize those in the Human Resources profession who exemplify outstanding achievements within the local Human Resources community.
In addition, under Ms. Sessoms’ leadership, Health Partners was selected as a winner of Workforce magazine’s annual Optimas award. Workforce is a national Human Resources trade publication. Health Partners won in the Service category. |
