Vaughn Hooks is vice president of taxes of Aon Corporation. Before joining Aon in January 2003, Hooks served as chief tax officer of Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., Waste Management Inc. and Wheelabrator Technologies Inc. An attorney and certified public accountant, Hooks began his career in the Atlanta office of KPMG LLP.
He is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. His service with civic and charitable organizations has included the Gower District 62 School Board in Willowbrook, Ill., the Gower Foundation for Excellence in Education, and the College of DuPage Charitable Foundation.
Hooks is a graduate of Duke University (bachelor's in political science), the University of Georgia School of Law, and Georgia State University (master's in taxation). |
