Description of Practice:
Vanessa is an associate in our San Francisco office's environmental group who focuses on complex business, real estate, land use, natural resources and environmental litigation matters involving water quality, boundary disputes, NEPA, and CEQA. Her experience includes law and motion, discovery and depositions, court appearances, settlement, alternative dispute resolution, and trial preparation.
She advises private entities on compliance with environmental laws and regulations, including wetland, water quality, hazardous and solid waste, and clean air. She represents clients in negotiations regarding cost recovery claims, development of remediation plans, and resolution of matters with regulatory agencies.
Vanessa also has experience counseling clients on U.S. and European environmental, safety and transportation law, and in the areas of products liability, environmental litigation, toxic tort, and general litigation matters.
She is a former member of the U.S. National Figure Skating Team.
Educational History:
Vanessa received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1999 and her B.A. from the University of Colorado in 1995. |
