Valeria Leone was born in Naples on June 3, 1961. She is married.
She was appointed Head of Telecom Italia Group Investor Relations on October 5, 2005.
Valeria Leone began her career at Deloitte Touche in 1985. In 1988 she began working as a freelance business valuer.
She worked in telecommunications planning and control at the Istituto per la Ricostruzione Industriale from 1992 to 1996, during which time she was involved with Italian telecommunications industry restructuring and privatization.
She joined the Telecom Italia Group in 1997 as Head of Business Planning at TIM. In 1999 she became Head of Investor Relations, a position she held at the company until June 2005. In July 2005 she was appointed Head of Market Analysis & Monitoring in the Marketing unit.
Ms. Leone has been on the register of professional accountants since 1987 and she has been a member of the Italian Association of Financial Analysts since 2001. In April 2005 she was appointed "Public Body Relations Coordinator" for the association's Telecommunications Industry Group. |
