Dr. Vadym Buyalsky also joined CTRL Systems, Inc.'s Research and Development Lab in September of 2000. Born in Odessa, Ukraine he graduated from Odessa Polytechnic University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1983 he completed and defended his thesis on the scientific specialty, "Systems and Drives" (hydraulic and pneumatic automation,) and earned his Ph.D. diploma. Dr. Buyalsky has written 75 scientific works and papers, including 27 patents for inventions. He received the Certificate of Senior Scientific Worker from the Council of Ministers of the USSR and was awarded two Bronze medals in scientific projects and inventions, and one medal for "Honest and Contributive Labor". He was the executor of at least nine Science and Research programs, as well as the leader of two international projects for the TACIS program and the Lisbon Initiative program. He was a Fellow of Scientific Council at Object "Shelter" of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, and of the Scientific Council at Kiev Civil Aviation University. Also, he was appointed as an Expert to the General Headquarters of State Fire Protection of Ukraine. |
