Uri Nooteboom is vice president of Offshore Field Development with INTEC Engineering, responsible for the execution and coordination of the company’s field development projects.
Nooteboom, who joined INTEC in 1990, offers more than 30 years of experience in the design and implementation of offshore oil and gas subsea and floating production systems.
His career has covered the complete spectrum from manufacturing and supply to engineering and construction management, with responsibilities in the areas of design, analysis, research and development, fabrication, installation and project management. He has worked on projects in the Gulf of Mexico, Canada, the North Sea, West Africa, the Mediterranean and Southeast Asia.
He has had significant involvement in several project milestones, including the Mobil Zafiro Field Development off Equatorial Guinea and Shell Offshore’s Rocky Field subsea tie-back development in the Gulf of Mexico.
Nooteboom holds two patents: as a co-inventor of a subsea well worker method and for a deepwater mooring system. Nooteboom holds a master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Delft in The Netherlands. |
