Tyler J. Woods is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm’s Orange County office. As a member of the Trial Department, Tyler concentrates his practice in employment litigation, commercial civil litigation, and intellectual property litigation. Over the years, Tyler has represented employers in various matters pertaining to employment law, including employment discrimination, wrongful termination and harassment. Tyler has additionally represented property owners in unlawful detainer actions, companies involved in various breach of contract actions and international clients in multi-million dollar patent infringement actions
Tyler is active in providing pro bono legal services to the community which include the recent litigation of a breach of contract and fraudulent representation claim in California State Court and guardianship proceedings in Orange County.
Prior to joining McDermott, Tyler worked as a research assistant for the McGeorge School of Law and participated in the USC Gould School of Law’s employment law clinic.
