Tyler Newton is a Principal at Catalyst Investors, a venture investment group based in New York City. Catalyst invests in traditional and high-growth companies in the Telecommunications, Media and Internet industries. Through extensive connections and prior industry experience, Catalyst helps integrate a network of industry-specific operating partners who add strategic insight and their own network of resources to Catalyst's investment in portfolio companies. The firm also draws upon the resources of its investment banking partner, Daniels & Associates, L.P., a pre-eminent investment bank focused on the same industries. Prior to joining Catalyst in 2000, Mr. Newton was a Vice President in Toronto Dominion's Media, Telecom & Technology Group. He earned a B.A. with honors in Economics from Middlebury College and is a CFA Charter holder. Mr. Newton also co-founded and serves on the board of Catalyst portfolio company TCP Communications. |
