In addition to being Chairman of Paymetric, Ty Miller is a Partner with Payment Capital, which invests in the payment and transaction processing sector of business services. He is also a Venture Partner with Austin Ventures, a $3 billion private equity firm based in Austin, Texas. Mr. Miller serves as a director of PreCash, Inc. and Corillian, Inc. (NASDAQ). He is a past director of PaymenTech, a leading merchant processing and electronic payments company, and Visa USA. He also served on the Executive Committee of The Clearing House Payments Company, the leading private-sector payment system infrastructure for clearing and settling U.S. Dollar payments.
Mr. Miller worked with Bank One and its predecessors for 28 years. After serving as Chairman & CEO of Bank One, Texas NA, a $28 billion financial services organization, he became President and CEO of the Global Treasury Services (GTS) business of Bank One Corp. from 2000 until 2004, when Bank One merged with JPMorgan Chase.
Mr. Miller serves on the Executive Board of The Cox School of Business at SMU, where he was named a Distinguished Alumnus in 2003 and earned an MBA in 1976. Miller received his BBA from SMU in 1975. |
