Troy Parchman enters his 13th year with the Chicago Blackhawks after joining the organization in 1994. A native of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Parchman has 23 years of equipment management experience. He served as equipment manager for the University of Saskatchewan football and hockey teams from 1982-88, while earning undergraduate degrees in physical education and sociology.
From 1988 to 1994, he served as equipment manager for the Canadian National Hockey Team, where he worked consecutive World Hockey Championships from 1991-94.
Troy, 42, has received numerous professional honors such as being selected to provide equipment management services for the Canadian hockey squad at the 1992 and '94 Winter Olympic Games as well as the 2003 NHL All-Star Game and the 2004 World Championships.
Troy and his wife, Whitney, reside in the city. He enjoys cycling, fishing, and golfing. |
