Tron Isaksen holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH). He has more than fifteen years of experience with software development in the petroleum industry. After graduating in 1988, he worked at Exxon Production Research in Houston, Texas, as a Software Engineer on fault leakage analysis applications and satellite imaging tools. While at Exxon, he also gained experience with image processing. He joined Stratamodel in 1992, where his main responsibilities were graphical user interface design and well log modeling. At Landmark Graphics Corporation Mr. Isaksen continued his work on the Stratamodel application, and also worked on OpenWorks (GeoDataWorks) and Contouring Assistant. Mr. Isaksen's interests include 3-D graphics and computer modeling. He is the cofounder of AGM and serves as AGM's President and lead developer of AGM's Recon 3-D geological interpretation product. |
