Tripp Johnson brings to Cornerstone Advisors an extensive background in retail banking systems development and administration as well as a hands-on, leading edge understanding of technology and eBusiness/eCommerce trends within the financial sector. Tripp's broad experience includes strategic business and technology planning centered around retail banking integration and multi-channel integration along with customer relationship management initiatives. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Tripp held the position of Chief Technology Officer, Retail Markets & Products Technology for Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC). He served as Vice President eBusiness Technology, eBusiness Group for RBC Royal Bank. Before joining RBC, Tripp served as Senior Vice President, Electronic Commerce Group for Crestar Financial Corporation (now SunTrust Bank), one of the leading financial institutions in customer-focused, online banking services. Tripp was also Manager of New Technologies for First Tennessee Bank in Memphis, Tennessee. Tripp is a contributing author to Cornerstone’s benchmarking and best practices publication, The Cornerstone Report: Benchmarks and Best Practices for Credit Unions 2006. He shares his specialized expertise as a regular contributing author on GonzoBanker and CUES Tech Port and as a speaker at industry conferences. He has been published in Credit Union Management. Tripp holds an MA in English as well as an undergraduate degree in English and Political Science from the University of Mississippi, Oxford, Mississippi. |
