Tricia Millward concentrates in the areas of commercial litigation, products liability litigation and personal injury litigation where she assists the attorneys in every phase of the case. She has over 20 years of civil litigation experience and has also worked extensively in insurance defense and aviation matters. Ms. Millward obtained her designation of Certified Paralegal (CP) in January of 1989 and her Advanced Paralegal Certification in Litigation (APC) from the National Association of Legal Assistants in December of 1989. She received her North Carolina Certified Paralegal designation from the North Carolina State Bar in September of 2005. Ms. Millward's professional association memberships include Legal Assistants Division of the NCBA (Chair of the Nominating Committee, 1998-1999); North Carolina Paralegal Association, Inc. (Board of Directors, 1989-1991; Secretary, 1987-1989); Raleigh-Wake Paralegal Association (President, 1988-1989; Placement Chairperson, 1987-1988; Secretary, 1986-1987); National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc.; Legal Assistants Division of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers; and American Bar Association (Associate member). Ms. Millward is a past member of two ABA Site Teams for Paralegal Schools seeking ABA approval. Ms. Millward assisted in preparing a training video for lawyer support staff produced by The North Carolina Bar Foundation. She also served on the Board of Advisors for the Meredith College Legal Assistants Program (1989-1992). Ms. Millward is an active member and supporter of a number of civic and charitable groups, such as White Memorial Presbyterian Church, Boys and Girls Clubs and Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. |
