Trevor Kienzle is a member of the Newbury Ventures team. He joined the firm in June of 2003 from GE Equity, the venture capital arm of the General Electric Company. Most recently, Kienzle was Industry Leader and co-head of GE Equity's Software Team, where he oversaw 26 venture investments in areas including information security, network and systems management, speech technologies, and wireless data. During his six years at GE Equity, Kienzle was involved in closing 22 venture investments. These included investments in Okena, which was acquired by Cisco in 2003; Netscreen (NSCN), which completed an IPO in 2001; and RSA Security (RSAS), through a 2001 PIPE financing. Kienzle represented GE Equity on nine corporate boards of directors including Enigma, Iridian Technologies, Okena, Secureworks, and VisionAir, as well as two advisory boards for venture fund investments. Kienzle currently serves on the boards of iSpheres, Onaro, and MetaLINCS. |
