Travis Ho brings a wealth of experience in audiovisual systems engineering and design. From former roles as Director of Operations for a leading nationwide integrator, Director of Engineering for a courtroom technology firm, and Chief Engineer for California State University Monterey Bay, he offers design teams both breadth and depth of experience in higher education, judicial, corporate and broadcast projects. Prior experience includes audiovisual system design for a $22M consolidated courtroom facility housing multiple family and probate, juvenile, housing, superior, district, and arraignment courtrooms, plus jury assembly, hearing and grand jury rooms for Worcester County’s new courthouse near Boston MA. Travis was project manager and senior analyst for the Judicial Council of California, where he contributed to the creation of a 10-year roadmap for facility design and construction for the entire judicial system to maximize the use of multimedia as a tool to increase communication and efficiency for the state of California. He also was audiovisual design engineer for nearly 100 federal, state and local judicial facilities across 32 states and the District of Columbia, including Hawaii, California, Colorado, Mississippi and Florida. Additional experience includes the design and project management of complete video broadcast production, post production, cable head-end, presentation and distance learning / videoconferencing facilities for California State University Monterey Bay that features transmission via satellite (fixed and mobile), microwave, fiber optic, RF, LAN, WAN, ISDN, T1 and ATM. Accomplishments there also include systems design for a new 20,000 SF University Center that includes a full-service corporate conference center and scalable venue, all replete with wireless, multimedia and other technologies. Most recently, Travis was AV design engineer and project manager for the integration of a $2M live performance audio system for the new Peoria Performing Arts Center in Phoenix AZ that includes an 80-seat black box theatre, multiple classrooms and a 500-seat main stage auditorium. Based in The Sextant Group’s Phoenix office, Travis is an avid water and snow skier, and is credentialed as a Certified Technology Specialist - Design (CTS-D) by InfoComm International. |
