Travis graduated with an undergraduate degree in engineering from Texas A&M University and received continuing education from the University of Washington. He garnished notoriety for his business development skills in the Risk Management industry early in his career. At age 30 he was promoted to Division Manager and Vice-President at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where he oversaw both domestic and international operations that produced not only triple digit annual growth but also remarkable profitability. He then accepted a position as an Executive of a newly formed joint venture between SAIC and Rolls-Royce named Data Systems and Solutions (DS&S). DS&S at the time of Travis' departure was producing over $100 million in annual revenues just two years after its launch. Travis left DS&S in July 2000 to become the CEO of a start-up venture in Colorado eventually called Northstar Exchange Corporation. Northstar delivered web-based collaboration services to the commercial construction industry. In a very competitive market space, Northstar became the world's leader in creating true online networks of construction partners collaborating in the pre-construction phase of a project. Northstar Exchange was acquired in mid-2006 which allowed Travis, who was President of the firm at that time, the opportunity to choose to go full-time as an Escape International representative. Travis joined Escape as an independent representative in late 2005 and reached the position of International Director in less than 6 months. The combination of successful corporate, entrepreneurial and MLM experience in the field makes Travis uniquely qualified to be President of Escape International. |
