Ms. Yun has about ten years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, bankruptcy and litigation advisory. Prior to joining Cypress Associates, Ms. Yun was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group of CIBC World Markets. Her transaction experience encompasses sellside auctions, sales of private firms and subsidiaries, buyside mandates, minority squeeze-outs, affiliated party, going private and cross-border transactions, mergers-of-equals, anti-takeover defense, distressed securities and various strategic alternatives. In particular, Ms. Yun has played a leading role in over sixty valuations in connection with fairness opinions, mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and bankruptcies. Her industry experience includes Educational Services, Telecom, Technology, Industrial Growth, Healthcare, Consumer Growth and others. Her representative transactions include the sale of Accord Networks to Polycom Inc., the sale of JLK Industrial to Kennametal Inc., the Chapter 11 reorganizations of Fansteel Inc and Goldman Industrial Group. Prior to CIBC, Ms. Yun worked at SG Cowen's investment banking group, focusing on financing and M&A assignments covering Financial Sponsors, Industrial Growth, Auto Parts, Steel and Apparel. Prior to SG Cowen, Ms. Yun worked at AlliedSignal's Business Development group executing acquisitions for its Engineered Materials division. She is a co-author of the four study guides in the Turbocharge Your GMAT series and MBA Admissions weekly newsletters by Manhattan Review. Ms. Yun received her M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Columbia Business School and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from California Lutheran University. |
