Current responsibility
Responsible for Milliman's Tokyo office, Toshiyuki Ikuma has been an Equity Principal (a senior executive partner) and Senior Consultant of Milliman since July 2002. He became a Principal and Senior Consultant in May 1998. He is currently a member of Milliman's Life Steering Committee and Post Release Peer Review Committee.
Experience
He has consulted to Japanese, North American, and European insurance companies since he joined Milliman's Tokyo office in May 1995. He has consulted with both direct writers and reinsurers and has worked in life and non-life areas. His areas of expertise include product development, reinsurance, competitive strategies, capital management, actuarial appraisal, M&As, market entry support, demutualization, US GAAP, and embedded value reporting.
