Tony Grossi joined Macerich as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in January 2006. Grossi brings more than 20 years of extensive corporate and operational experience in the commercial real estate sector across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom to Macerich.
Grossi has spent the majority of his professional career at Cadillac Fairview. He joined the company in 1985 as a financial analyst and grew to hold increasingly senior positions there in the areas of leasing and operations prior to his most recent post as Executive Vice President, Operations, which he has held since 2002.
An active member of the community and the industry, Grossi’s diverse involvements include membership in the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Faculty of Business at Toronto’s Ryerson University, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Building Owners and Managers Association. Grossi also serves as a Finance Committee Member for Northwestern General Hospital and as a United Way Company Chair and Committee Member. He holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from York University in Toronto.
