Tony Canzoneri Biography :

Tony Canzoneri, Chairman of Brown Winfield Canzoneri Abram Inc., has over 30 years of experience in handling sophisticated real estate matters for private and public clients. He has been involved in all aspects of real estate transactions, including the negotiation and documentation of acquisitions, dispositions, financings, development agreements, ground leases, space leases, covenants, conditions and restrictions and governing documents for residential subdivisions, mixed-use projects and master plan communities. Mr. Canzoneri's lender experience has included land development and construction loans, loan work outs, foreclosures and REO work. He also has extensive experience in land use, environmental, planning, zoning, redevelopment, economic development, construction, finance and asset management. Mr. Canzoneri is the City Attorney and Redevelopment Agency Counsel for the Cities of Cerritos and Monterey Park, and has acted as special counsel in connection with land use, real estate and redevelopment matters for various local agencies including as Lead Real Estate Counsel for the Los Angeles Community College District. Mr. Canzoneri's years of experience in representing both private sector and public agency clients, has enabled him to develop a unique expertise in the art of creating and implementing successful public private partnerships. PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS AND AWARDS Mr. Canzoneri is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Member, Sections on Real Property, Taxation, Trust and Estates) and American Bar Association (Member, Sections on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law; Urban State and Local Government Law; Corporation, Banking and Business Law; Law Practice Management) and State Bar of California. Mr. Canzoneri was named a Southern California Super Lawyer in 2005 and 2006. Mr. Canzoneri's volunteer efforts include membership on the Board of Directors of Project GRAD Los Angeles; the Executive Committee of the Central City Association; Executive Committee of the Los Angeles Business Council; and, District Councilmember for the Urban Land Institute. He is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the American Institute of Wine and Food.
