Tony Brierley is chief administrative officer of Kroll. In this role, he serves as the primary liaison between Kroll and its parent company, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (MMC). Tony works extensively with MMC senior management to implement operational efficiency initiatives at Kroll, including those in the areas of finance, HR, IT, legal, real estate, and procurement.
Tony previously served as Kroll's chief operating officer and was responsible for monitoring the activities and financial results of Kroll's business practices and for overseeing corporate budgets and operating procedures.
Prior to his appointment as COO, Tony was chief operating officer of Kroll's Corporate Advisory & Restructuring group. With more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance and recovery, Tony has undertaken a number of high-profile chief executive and advisory roles across a range of sectors. He has been involved in the restructuring of the Federal-Mogul Group, one of largest cross border restructuring proceedings in history, as well as the restructure and sale of Leyland DAF, and the administration of the Robert Maxwell Group. He has worked on a number of banking assignments, notably implementing the wind-down of the Fennoscandia Bank loan portfolio.
Tony joined Kroll in 2002. He began his career with a large international accountancy firm in 1974 and spent twelve years as a partner in its corporate finance and corporate recovery group. |
