Ton Bunt is a senior advisor in our Boston office. Following a career spanning over 20 years of international experience as a physician and pharmaceutical industry executive, Dr. Bunt's focus is on clinical development, product commercialization, and licensing.
Experience
Prior to joining JSB-Partners, Dr. Bunt was head of Clinical Development and Medical Affairs at Par Pharmaceutical. Before Par, he was a Senior Vice President of clinical development and medical affairs at Oscient Pharmaceuticals. Prior to Oscient, Dr. Bunt was a Senior Medical Director of Merck's hypertension group. Previously, Dr. Bunt worked at Novartis as the Group Medical Officer of Corporate Marketing. Dr. Bunt also founded BuntAssociates, LLC, a business consulting firm which successfully helped companies translate underutilized intellectual property into value through license or sale.
Education
Dr. Bunt earned an M.D. and Ph.D. at the University of Leiden in The Netherlands, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
