Tom Stanton is a licensed customs broker and international traffic manager with more than twenty-five years experience working with purchasing teams to reduce import and export costs and resolve international transport and customs problems. Tom has installed and managed various programs for logistics improvements including foreign trade zones, manufacturing and same condition duty drawback programs, temporary import of finished goods and components for manufacture(TIB), customs compliance procedures and pre-audit reviews, offshore assembly of US components, a NAFTA compliance program, a country of origin control database, and warehouse receipt and reshipment programs. He has negotiated customs matters and handled customs audits in the US and negotiated with HM Customs, Singapore Customs and Thai Customs on behalf of AFMS or other clients. |
