Tom Russell is manager of safety and health for SWEPCO. He is responsible for the safety and health of employees company-wide, coordination, compliance and interpretation of rules and procedures.
Russell joined SWEPCO in 1992 as a meter technician in Longview and has held positions in distribution and human resources strategy and development. He has served as technical and safety training specialist, and as organizational effectiveness consultant, where his responsibilities included leadership and employee development.
Russell holds professional certifications as a journeyman line technician and journeyman meter technician. He is certified as a training specialist, training developer and holds an advanced safety certification from the National Safety Council.
Russell and his wife have two children and live in Longview, Texas. |
