Tom Munro is chief executive officer of Verimatrix, a leading developer of content protection and security solutions to protect digital media files. Tom brings over 22 years of experience in finance and technology to the Kineticom board and is an acknowledged expert in corporate planning. As Chief Financial Officer and then President of Wireless Facilities Inc. (WFI), Tom successfully led WFI through its public offering and the subsequent repositioning of the company as a market leader in outsourced technical and operations services for major telecom carriers. Prior to joining WFI, Tom, a serial entrepreneur, founded and ran @Market, a retail sporting goods website, and also founded and served as CFO of Precision Digital Images and MetLife Capital Corporation. Tom holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and an MBA from the University of Washington. He has co-authored two college level text books on computer programming. Tom sits on the board of Pac-West Telecom, Inc. (NASDAQ: PACW), as well as a number of other high-tech companies. |
