Tom Mucher is vice president of professional services for CareGain, a business unit of Fiserv, Inc. He is responsible for providing business and technology consulting services for CareGain clients, as well as developing and managing strategic alliances with systems integrators and service providers to augment sales and services associated with CareGain solutions. Tom's expertise and in-depth understanding of aggressive goals for growth, profitability and customer success are integral in his role as director of all services and client management activities for CareGain. Prior to joining CareGain, Tom served as vice president of professional services for I-many, Inc., a provider of trade relationship management software solutions focusing on the life sciences and consumer product goods industries. In this role, he successfully developed and grew the services business from its early start-up stages to the company's successful initial public offering in July 2000. Prior to I-many, Tom served as vice president of technical services for Answersoft, Inc., a provider of customer interaction management software and services solutions, where he developed and directed the software engineering and services organization through its successful acquisition by Davox Corporation in early 1998. He also served as vice president of technical services for Tivoli Systems, Inc., a provider of software products and services for enterprise systems management solutions that was acquired by IBM. Before Tivoli, Tom served in similar roles with Convex Computers, a UNIX supercomputer and applications company, as well as with Tandem Computers. Tom holds a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Control Data Corporation, Institute for Computer Studies and completed an executive Business Management program at Caldwell College, NJ. |
