Tom McGillis has more than eighteen years experience in all aspects of human resource management. He joined Guideline (then FIND/SVP) in August 2000 as HR Director. Tom was promoted to the position of Vice President, Human Resources in 2004. Prior to joining Guideline, Tom headed the employee relations practice at HR Dynamics, Inc., an HR consulting company providing HR assistance primarily to the not-for-profit section. Tom has also worked in and headed HR departments in the hospitality, real estate, and manufacturing sectors.
Tom holds an MBA in organizational psychology from Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business and has been awarded life-time certification at the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) level by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He is active in local and national Human Resources organizations and for the last 5 years has been the chairperson of the Manhattan Job Service Employer Committee, an advisory committee working with the New York State Department of Labor. |
