Tom Maxwell joined Micro Power in early 2005, bringing with him 25 years of experience in engineering management, program management and product development. Previously, as engineering manager and manager of program management at Electro Scientific Industries, Inc., Mr. Maxwell led the creation and implementation of a world-class product development system that improved development throughput and product quality. His engineering team sustained a $50 million product portfolio while developing and launching new products that increased revenues by 20 percent. As program manager at Terumo Cardiovascular Systems, 3M Health Care, Cardiovascular Devices Inc., and C. R. Bard Inc., Mr. Maxwell developed advanced medical products and systems used in open-heart surgery and ICU patient monitoring applications. He holds 19 U.S. Patents and is a certified professional project manager. Mr. Maxwell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Long Beach. |
