Tom has over 25 years' experience in Information Technology and over 20 years' experience in the insurance industry.
After graduating with honours in Social Sciences from Leicester University in the UK, Tom began his IT career in 1978 with an engineering company before joining a software house in 1981 where he developed a package for Lloyd's Insurance Brokers and subsequently managed the company's customer services division.
Tom then worked directly in the insurance industry for 19 years, initially in the UK and most recently as the Asia CIO for a major international insurance broker where he was responsible for IT strategy and operations in 13 countries in Asia. Although new to Ebix, Tom has worked extensively with Ebix staff and products since 1993 in Asia and Europe. |
