Tom Finn is a senior organization development consultant for Learning Communications. He is a former employee of Westinghouse.
The mission of Tom Finn Associates is to help organizations create thriving, productive workplaces with individuals who gain fulfillment from their jobs. They consult and train in situations like these, with organizations and individuals that:
Want to improve leaders' ability to handle heavy responsibility and pressure.
Want to change environments that are stuck, negative, turf conscious, stagnant, or overwhelming and stressed.
Have to adapt to market change or competitive demands and need a flexible, responsive workforce.
Are looking to develop effective managers, change agents, or facilitators.
Want a culturally competent business that appeals to diverse customers and attracts diverse employees.
Tom has an A.B. in international relations from Brown University and an M.S. from Georgetown University. He is fluent in Spanish and does much of his work in that language, having trained people in seven Latin American countries. He has also studied Russian.
He is a member of NTL Institute, one of the leading professional groups in the field of organization development. He is certified on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator instrument, as well as on MFS, a software program for providing feedback to leaders. Tom ran a retail business from startup to sale of the company in the early 1990s.
Tom has consulted on organization system change efforts, coached leaders, led team building efforts, and trained in the areas of leadership and cultural diversity. Tom's LifeLine Consulting Services provides professional development for leaders with heavy responsibility who are on overload and endure chronically "stuck" business problems. |
