Tom Ferrando is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of CherryRoad Technologies Inc. and its federal division, CherryRoad GT. Mr. Ferrando previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Enterprise Solutions where he oversaw the delivery of e-Business strategies and applications designed to enhance the company's internal and external relationships. Specific service offerings that fell under Mr. Ferrando's area of responsibility included enterprise resource planning software implementations, upgrades and extensions to the Web; e-Business strategy development; implementation of e-Business applications; Web integration; enterprise portal development; enterprise application integration; security services; Management Consulting services including process assessment and redesign and business transformation services. Prior to this senior-level position, Mr. Ferrando served as Vice President of Enterprise Applications Solutions. In that position, he headed up the company's Enterprise Resource Planning Implementation and Integration business. Before that, Mr. Ferrando was Director of Human Resources Services. In that capacity, he managed the implementation of Human Resources Enterprise software for a variety of clients, ensuring that projects were completed on time and within budget. He led all project activities, including project scope definition, planning, fit/gap analysis, design, development, testing and implementation. During his tenure as director, Mr. Ferrando led the development of CherryRoad's rapid implementation methodology and expanded the human resources' ERP services department by tenfold. Prior to joining CherryRoad, Mr. Ferrando was General Manager of Operations and Systems at Prudential Disability Management Services. He also served as Senior Systems Analyst/project manager for Prudential's Healthcare Group. During his 12-year tenure at Prudential, Mr. Ferrando designed the company's first relational data model and introduced reusable design and parts to the company's application development efforts. He was instrumental in the development of the Prudential Service Bureau, where he served as Project Manager/Programming Analyst, performing large-scale enterprise implementations using mainframe software. Mr. Ferrando earned a Master of Science degree in human resource management from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. |
