Tom Bolger is a member of the management team of West Monroe Partners, where he is responsible for developing the company's Seattle office and enhancing its solutions for the financial services market. During his more than 12 years in financial services and consulting, Tom has led a number of complex, high-profile projects and has developed highly sought skills in operations management, solution development, relationship management, and alignment of technology with strategic objectives.

Tom has a long-standing interest in building successful organizations. From the early days of his career as a consultant with Arthur Andersen to his substantial recent successes, such as driving Washington Mutual's award-winning online banking program, Tom has fostered a reputation for delivering results.
Before joining West Monroe Partners in 2005, Tom held several key positions with Washington Mutual, including business unit manager for the company's debit card business and vice president/manager for online banking. Washington Mutual is the third-largest debit card issuer in the United States, with more than 11 million customers.
Tom managed several very large programs for Washington Mutual, including the launch of company's online banking platform and the largest debit card conversion in U.S. banking history. Both of these initiatives involved teams of more than 300 people and budgets in excess of $50 million. This experience of managing vendor services not only honed his project and operational management skills; it enabled him to develop a finely tuned sense for providing consulting services in a way that is responsive to the needs and expectations of his clients.
Prior to joining Washington Mutual, Tom spent nine years as a consultant with Saltmine, a Seattle-based internet consulting firm, and with Arthur Andersen in Chicago. His consulting experience spanned multiple industries, including retail banking, merchant retailers, packaged product providers, and manufacturing.
As a member of Arthur Andersen's Strategic Technologies leadership team, Tom conceptualized and presented alternative strategic directions for the firm's Business Consulting practice. He also assisted in the creation of the firm's successful electronic commerce practice by developing whitepapers and presenting a business case to practice leaders across the country. While with Arthur Andersen, Tom managed major projects for a client roster that included Leo Burnett, Sara Lee, DuPont, and Underwriters Laboratories.
Tom earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in computer science and psychology from the University of Notre Dame. When he isn't working, he and his family enjoy the ample backpacking, mountain biking and snowboarding opportunities of the Pacific Northwest.
