Todd has over 20 years of business experience providing strategic and management leadership to fortune 500 companies in the areas of financial optimization, organic and in-organic growth, and operational improvements including: organizational change management, business process redesign, technology evaluation and new technology implementation. Todd's experience has included identifying over $75 million in operational efficiency and change management opportunities for American Electric Power. At Berkshire Hathaway, Todd developed the business plan and led the design effort of a three company joint venture among Northern Electric in New Castile, England, Washington Gas, in Washington D.C., and Mid-Gas in Des Moines, Iowa. As Program Manager, Todd has had both budget and delivery responsibility for several multimillion dollar technology implementation projects; the two largest projects were for American Water Works and Puget Sound Energy. Other utility clients include Montana Power, Pasadena Water and Power, and Chugach Electric. While at the Boeing Company Todd helped develop Boeing's new commercial airplane design, build and pricing strategy; the outcome of this multiyear strategic planning effort was a 12 year $1.7 billion worldwide business process redesign. Before working for the Boeing Company Todd worked as a financial analyst for Global Ventures, a boutique mergers and acquisition firm in Seattle. Todd sits on the Board of CanWel Building Materials Income Fund; The Fund trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol CWX.UN and is one of Canada's largest national distributors in the building materials and related products sector, with approximately $1 billion in revenues, operating 17 distribution centers across Canada. Todd contributed to the book "Simplified Systematic Handling Analysis" written by Richard Muther and received an engineering degree, with honors from the University of Washington. |
