Todd, a self-described eternal optimist, is responsible for the quality of Capstrat’s creative strategy and output, and oversees all day-to-day activities of our Design, Dynamic Media and Interactive teams. Formerly manager of creative services for GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Todd knows mergers. He was also involved with branding development projects for products such as Advair, Imitrex and Flonase. Before he joined Capstrat, Todd was the GSK corporate brand manager for the Americas. Although he spent 11 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Todd has also worked with many other organizations, including the Cartoon Network, Country Music Association, and FGI Advertising and Design, where his clients included TCI Cable, Central Carolina Bank, Hanes and Volvo Penta. His work has been recognized by The Addys, The Tellys, Graphis, AIGA Graphic Design USA, How, Creativity, ShowSouth, the AIGA North Carolina Design Show and many more. Todd believes in promoting a culture of best work doing good work to achieve new opportunities to do more good work. He makes every effort to keep Capstrat a fun, open environment where everyone's input is valued. In the end, he says, this benefits Capstrat, our employees and our clients. He serves as president ex-officio of the Raleigh chapter of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts). He also dedicates time to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Todd received his bachelor’s of fine arts degree in communication arts from East Carolina University. He went on to earn a master's degree in advertising design from Syracuse University. |
