Todd M. Eicher, 36, currently oversees Mergers and Acquisitions activities as an Executive Director for Nelnet. Additionally, he assists in building and maintaining strategic relationships for the company.
Eicher is focused on Nelnet's long-term future. He has a fresh perspective on business issues, and provides an optimistic eye on complex issues. "In order to bring our commitment to education to an ever increasing number of families, Nelnet will continue to expand its geographic presence and solution set through strategic and opportunistic merger and acquisition transactions."
He previously served as Nelnet's Executive Director of Loan Generation, directing School Product Support, Business Integration, and all aspects of Nelnet's Loan Origination operations. Prior to his directing Loan Generation, Eicher was the Loan Servicing Vice President for Nelnet's Jacksonville, Florida, and St. Paul, Minnesota, offices. In June 1994, Eicher began his career as an attorney with UNIPAC, a student loan servicing business acquired by Nelnet in 2000. Prior to beginning his career with UNIPAC, he worked for Union Bank and Trust for six years while attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Eicher received his J.D. degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1995 and his B.S. in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1992.
Eicher serves on the Board of Directors for EDULINX and for infiNET. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Nebraska State Bar Association. He has a home in Jacksonville, Florida where he lives with his family. |
