Full name Todd Edward Watkins attended Helix (San Diego, CA) High School, where he was the first player in 25 years to letter in four sports (football, volleyball, soccer, track) attended high school with San Francisco 49ers QB Alex Smith and New Orleans Saints RB Reggie Bush, the duo were the first and second players selected overall in the 2005 and 2006 NFL Draft, respectively earned All-County honors as a receiver and kicker in both his junior and senior seasons and was a member of the 2000 San Diego Section, Division II CIF Football championship team in track, helped his relay team to the 2000 California State Boys CIF Track Championship in the 4x100 relay in a time of 41.17 Physical Education major his great uncle, Tom Watkins, is a member of the Iowa State Athletic Hall of Fame after a stellar collegiate career (1958-1960) and also played for the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Los Angeles Rams his brother, Travis, was an offensive guard at Southern California, starting on the Trojans’ National Championship team in 2004. |
