Todd E. Cave is a Vice President of the Property Tax Division and has more than twenty years experience in preparing consulting and valuation studies on commercial, industrial, multi-family residential and special purpose properties. For the last ten years, he has been involved in establishing the fair market value of company-owned real property assets for assessment purposes and the payment of property taxes. Prior to joining FMV, Mr. Cave was the corporate tax manager for SBC California (formerly Pacific Bell). While at SBC California, he managed the annual reporting of the fair market value of taxable and non-taxable assets for one of the nations largest Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOC), its affiliate telecommunication providers, and competitive local exchanges. Prior to working for SBC, Mr. Cave was a public utility appraiser for the State of Wyoming where he valued electrical utilities and other centrally-assessed properties. Mr. Cave has extensive experience in the valuation of real estate and has used this background to develop strategies to manage property tax liabilities for companies of all sizes. Mr. Cave is a graduate of the University of Arizona, Tucson , with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has been a regular attendee of classes offered by the Appraisal Institute and the IAAO, and of the Wichita Public Utilities Conference. |
