Mr. Brown is a senior partner at the law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP, with offices in Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Brazil, New York, and Mexico. Prior to joining Thompson & Knight LLP in 1999, Mr. Brown was a partner, founder, and one of the managing partners of the law firm of Brown Parker & Leahy and its predecessors for 25 years. He is a director of Southern Bancshares, Inc., First State Bank of Bremond, Lott State Bank, and Lone Star Bank, and a director of Sage Broadcasting Corp., Fayette Broadcasting Company, and American Spectrum Realty, Inc., which is listed on the American Stock Exchange. Mr. Brown is a member of the board for Texas Business Hall of Fame. He holds a BA from Stanford University and a JD degree from The University of Texas School of Law. |
