Our founder and President, Timothy M. Tippins has engaged in family law practice for more than 25 years, with special emphasis on complex equitable distribution and contested custody litigation. He has served the profession in several capacities, as President of the New York Chapter of the Academy, Chair of the New York State Bar Association Task Force on Family Law, and Chair of the NYSBA Family Law Section. He is the author of New York Matrimonial Law & Practice, a multi-volume treatise published by West Group, and has served on the faculty of Albany Law School since 1987. Tippins has lectured widely at the state and national level, for such organizations as the American Bar Association, American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, New York State Bar Association, and the NYS Office of Court Administration's Judicial School. As President of MatLaw Systems Corp., Mr. Tippins oversees new product development, CLE Curriculum, and strategic operations of the company. |
