Timothy L. Vaughn, CPA, 42, has served as Chief Financial Officer of BlueChoice HealthPlan (formerly known as Companion HealthCare Corporation) since January 2000, and Vice President of Underwriting of BlueChoice HealthPlan since October 2005. He served as TRICARE Contracts Manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina from 1997 to 2000. This federal program provided health benefits administration for military dependents and retirees across the nation. Mr. Vaughn is a certified public accountant and has been named a Fellow in both the Academy of Healthcare Management and Life Management Institute and is currently serving as Corporate Secretary and Treasurer of EAP Alliance, Inc. in Columbia, South Carolina. He is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations. Mr. Vaughn was most recently elected as a director at the annual meeting of stockholders in 2004.
