Joining Laurent Development Company LLC in 2003, Tim is responsible for all accounting and financial operations of the company. These responsibilities include creating, structuring and managing all debt and equity financing facilities for the company’s development projects and assets. Other duties include negotiation, sales and contract management with home builders participating in the company’s development projects, strategic planning, risk management, corporate legal affairs and marketing. Tim serves a member of the architectural review committee for all of the company’s development projects.
Tim has prior professional experience in the real estate financing and construction industries. Immediately prior to joining Laurent Development Company LLC, Tim was commercial banking officer in the commercial real estate banking division for US Bank National Association in Minneapolis, MN where he managed a $100 million real estate debt portfolio. At US Bank, Tim participated in the sourcing, underwriting, structuring and legal management of many commercial real estate loans.
Tim was also project manager and estimator for M. Ecker and Company, a Chicago, Illinois based commercial construction contractor. Tim oversaw the estimating and project management for both commercial and residential construction projects.
Tim holds an undergraduate degree in construction administration from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and a masters degree in real estate and urbanland economics, also from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |
