Tim Campen is the Vice President and Director, Orion Center for Homeland Security, part of the SRA Command and Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I) Sector. He oversees the provision of software and analytical services and solutions to clients across the Department of Defense; the intelligence and law enforcement communities; and state and local homeland security organizations.
Campen brings over 25 years of experience in executive management and IT leadership in senior positions with the White House, Congress, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Defense (DoD) to this position. He most recently served as a Special Assistant to the President and the Director of Administration for the Executive Office of the President of the United States, where he led strategic IT planning, directed daily operations, and developed emergency management plans with the Secret Service to ensure the safety of the White House Campus. His prior positions include first Chief Information Officer at the White House, Director of Information Resources at the U.S. House of Representatives, and Technical Director of the National Drug Intelligence Center.
During his military career, Campen was a Department of the Army selected Program Manager and was at the forefront of bringing IT services to DoD’s counterterrorism, counternarcotics, and law enforcement programs.
