Tim serves as a vice president of SDI and president of Steel of West Virginia (SWVA), now an SDI subsidiary, based in Huntington, West Virginia. Tim joined Steel Dynamics in 2006 with the SDI’s acquisition of SWVA as a part of the merger with Roanoke Electric Steel Corp.
Tim was hired to work in finance at SWVA in 1987. He was named president and CEO in 1996, and has become intimately involved in manufacturing, marketing, and sales, as well as having served as treasurer of the company.
Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Duquesne University. His professional designations include certified public accountant, certified management accountant, and certified computer professional. |
