Timothy J. Allen, Vice President, has more than twenty years of experience in forensic accounting. He has been involved in a wide range of disputes and investigations in a number of different jurisdictions. He has acted as an accounting expert in the High Court in the U.K., in other countries in Europe, in Hong Kong, and in the U.S. courts. He as also appeared as an accounting expert in international arbitrations under ICC, LCIA, and UNCITRAL rules, as well as at mediations. He has given expert accounting testimony on over twenty occasions, and is an internationally recognized expert in the formulation of damages in warranty claims arising from corporate transactions. Mr. Allen also has considerable experience in accounting analysis and damages estimation in the telecoms industry and has acted as an accounting expert in some of the most significant telecoms disputes of the last decade. He also acts as accounting expert in a wide range of disputes in the international banking and financial services sector. Mr. Allen has considerable experience with fraud investigations and with investigations into alleged manipulation of financial statements. He has acted in some of the highest profile international fraud cases of recent years. Prior to founding Lee & Allen in 1994, he was with Price Waterhouse in London and New York where he was involved in forensic accounting, audit, and corporate transactions. Mr. Allen is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a certified fraud examiner. |
