Tilo Brandis is president of UGS PLM Software (UGS), a division of Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D). Brandis received a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig and a Master in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg, as well as a Master in Business Administration from the University of Stirling.
He started his career as a management consultant for HBS Consulting Partners GmbH in Munich heading their Prague office. Brandis joined Siemens in 1997 and held a variety of posts within the Transportation Systems group, including head of the global cargo and mass transit business in Braunschweig, Germany. From 2003 - 2007, Brandis was the president of the Electronics Assembly Systems (EA) division of Siemens A&D in Munich.
Married with two children, Brandis currently lives in the Dallas area, while also maintaining his house in Munich, Germany. When he is not working, Brandis' life revolves around his family, friends and sports. |
