Tian Hou joined Unterberg in 2004 and is the firm's Senior Analyst covering the fast- growing China technology sector. Ms. Hou was born and grew up in Beijing and immigrated to the U.S. more than 10 years ago. She holds a MS in public administration from Harvard and an MBA from Beijing Economic University. She has worked as a Management Strategy Consultant at IBM, an Analyst specializing in emerging market equities at Sanford C. Bernstein and as an Editor of a monthly China business and risk newsletter. She has followed business practices in China for 10 years and served as a consultant to U.S. companies seeking assistance in doing business in China. Prior to coming to the U.S., she owned and operated a business in China and served as an advisor to the Chinese central government. She also spent five years operating an international campaign to improve the human rights situation in China. |
