Thomas Foster specializes in valuation, feasibility, solvency and fraudulent conveyance analyses across diverse industries. Tom is a financial manager and senior analyst with experience in publishing, manufacturing, food and agribusiness, biotechnology, home improvement, plastics, software distribution, textile, paper, retail, apparel, transportation and financial services. He has played a key role in Goldin’s engagements in the restructurings or bankruptcies of Bruno’s, Salerno Plastics, Color Tile, Warnaco, W.R. Grace, Enron and Tower Air, among many others. Earlier in his career, Tom worked at W.R. Grace where he designed financial models and evaluated operational, legal and tax issues for proposed mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for its $1.8 billion Specialty Businesses Group. He was also a financial manager at Simon & Schuster & Co., where he was responsible for the operations and finances of two divisions within its Consumer Group. He was previously a senior auditor at Bankers Trust and David Berdon & Company, CPAs. A Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor and a certified public accountant, Mr. Foster has a B.S. in applied economics and business management from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University. |
