ST. LOUIS (May 22, 2007) Jackson Safety announced the appointment of Thomas Burns as its Chief Executive Officer. Burns most recently served as President of Burnes Group, a Texas-based manufacturer and marketer of consumer products, and was formerly the President of Katy Industries’ Commercial Products Group, a manufacturer and distributor of commercial cleaning and service products. Prior to that, Burns held various positions of increasing responsibility during an eight year career with Newell Rubbermaid. Tom has an outstanding track record of success in the packaged goods and durable goods industries. His knowledge and experience make him an ideal fit to help us achieve our goals at Jackson stated George Kelly, Chairman of Jackson Safety.
