Thomas V. (Tom) Ervin is Chief Financial Officer and Controller at Entrieva, Inc. Founded in 1999, Entrieva's patented technology indexes, categorizes and organizes unstructured text from virtually any source turning information into intelligence and improving organizational productivity.Ervin has over 15 years in accounting and financial management experience. Chief Financial Officer since 2001, he is responsible for Entrieva's finance operation including financial reporting, balance sheet management, forecast and budgeting, audit and tax compliance as well contract administration, facilities and various customer programs. He also serves as the Secretary of the Corporation.Ervin joined as Entrieva's Corporate Controller in 2000 after serving 3 years as Corporate Controller for Softworks Inc (NASDAQ:SWRX), an international enterprise software company. Prior to joining Softworks, he held various positions in accounting and finance at Best Software Inc (NASDAQ:BEST) from 1993 through 1998. He also has prior sector experience in residential real estate development and property management.Mr. Ervin became a CPA in 1992 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University. |
