Mr. Spires' was Vice President and Deputy of the Air Combat & Strike Systems business area within Raytheon's Space and Airborne Systems (SAS). Mr. Spires held prior roles as the Systems and Software Engineering Division Manager, and Director and General Manager of F-15 Programs. Between Hughes Aircraft Company and Raytheon Mr. Spires brings over 35 years of experience in systems engineering, functional program management, senior program management and general management. Mr. Spires was a strong contributor through his leadership in customer satisfaction and financial performance of the business area. Mr. Spires retired from Raytheon's Space and Airborne Systems in November 1999 and has provided consulting services to Raytheon since March 2000. Mr. Spires earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics from Jacksonville University in 1967. He completed the UCLA Executive Program in 1990 as well as several internal leadership courses. |
